The most interesting surroundings

Choosing the Hotel Leonarda means having not only the sea of Rimini at your fingertips, but also an area rich in history, art and nature. From the mediaeval atmospheres of San Marino and Gradara to the Renaissance treasures of Urbino and the scenic paths of the San Bartolo Park: discover the most fascinating destinations in the hinterland of Romagna and the Marches to make your holiday unforgettable.

San Marino

San Marino is a independent state bordering Emilia Romagna and Marche, which offers various excursions according to one's interests: shopping in the Atlante and Azzurro shopping centres, nature walks among the medieval antiquities of the Three Towers from which one can admire a splendid panorama. Suitable for both couples and families.

Gradara

Gradara is a small town located on a hill in the Marche region. Even before arriving you realise the beauty of the majestic medieval castle in which the story of Paolo and Francesca is narrated. It is also a popular religious destination due to the presence of churches.

Urbino

Urbino is a fortress located on the Pesaro hillside. There is the famous Ducal Palace, home of the Malatesta family enemy Federico da Montefeltro. A town that fully represents Italian and world art as it hosted the most famous exponents of the Renaissance. The historic centre is protected as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

San Bartolo Park

The San Bartolo National Park is located between the regions of Emilia Romagna and Marche and covers an area of approximately 1,600 hectares in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, extending along the coastal area between the municipalities of Pesaro and Gabicce Mare. Recommended place for nature lovers.

What they say about us

Just like home

I am 50 years old and I have been going to "la Leonarda" (which before becoming a hotel was a boarding house) since I was eight. I used to come with my parents, now I take my son there, or send him with his grandmother. For me, Rimini means Leonarda. I have always felt at home, being able to turn to the property for anything as if it were my own family. At the Leonarda Hotel you will find a warm welcome, kindness, helpfulness and attention to guests. Over the years the property has also been modernised, for example a lift was added, and a TV in the room. (..)I highly recommend this hotel for a holiday at home.

Excellent stay

I stayed 4 days (too few, unfortunately!!!!) in this hotel and had a great time. Of course, there is the noise of the trains, but after the first few hours I was already used to it and I no longer heard anything. Cuisine prepared by the owners, plentiful and varied, in short I ate very well! In three minutes on foot you are at the beach and on the main promenade! I can only recommend this hotel and next year, when I return, I want to treat myself to many more days!
Greetings to all from

Pleasant holiday in Romagna

We stayed the 2 first weeks of August and we had a very good time: nice guesthouse, not very recent but well maintained and very clean, air-conditioned rooms, location near the train tracks (...). Home cooking varied and very tasty, breakfast not excessive but complete with everything. On request you can also have a savoury version.
The owner and the very kind Alice are always available for any requests.
Excellent value for money, we highly recommend full board.
